UF Health Interventional Radiology (IR)– Jacksonville both Downtown and North campuses, offers a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult, geriatric and pediatric patients. Nurses in this department assist with procedures in multiple imaging modalities and three outpatient imaging centers provide pre-procedural, intra-procedural and immediate post-procedural care. There are three primary procedure rooms and nine patient bays. Nurses on this floor care for an average of 20 patients a day, Monday through Friday. The team specializes in multiple minimally-invasive procedures, dialysis catheters, biopsies and central venous access.

In this role you are a member of a talented leadership team encompassing the Director of Radiology, Chief Radiologist, Nurse Director, Radiology Operations Manager, and Interventional Radiology Supervisor. Working together you assume strategic accountability for the IR Unit. Your role as Nurse Manager will have clinical accountability for the day-to-day operations and management of the professional nursing practice, including patient care, work flow, and patient care communications.

Qualifications - Education:
• Bachelor's degree. BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Masters degree preferred.

Qualifications - Experience:
• Must have 2+ years Nursing Leadership experience (Supervisor, Lead, Manager)
• Must have 3+ years Clinical experience working in Radiology, ICU, CCU, ER
• Clinical experience in procedural areas is a plus (GI Lab, Cath Lab, etc.)
• Academics hospital experience is a plus
• Trauma Center hospital experience is highly preferred

Qualifications - License:
• Current Florida (or NLC states) Licensure as Registered Nurse.
• BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association is required.
